Caring for your wool products requires attention.
We recommend refreshing your wool duvet insert and pillows by periodically hanging it outdoors in the fresh sun.
Spot clean as needed. For stained items, add a dose of live cultured enzymes (such as Bac-Out by Biokleen) during soaking.
Wash only as needed. It is important that you of not use the wash cycle. The wash cycle creates agitation, which can result in felted or ruined wool bedding.
NO GUARANTEE ONCE ITEMS HAVE BEEN WASHED
Due to the variety of washing machines on the market and the differences in their operation, we do not guarantee wool items once they have been machine washed. We want you to enjoy your natural products for years to come and offer washing instructions to assist you in giving them the best care possible. Understanding the basic principles of the soak-and-spin method explained, will enable you to maximize the life of your bedding.

Takasa bed sheets, duvet covers, comforters and towels are ethically made in India. Our duvet inserts and pillows are made in Canada and the USA.
Organic wool duvet inserts are made-to-order. They will be packed 3-6 weeks after your order is placed. If standard shipping is elected, your package will arrive 4-7 days after they have been packed.
All of our dyes are approved by the Global Organic Textile Standard to be free from harmful chemicals.
Our Natural colour bedding and towels are not dyed and therefore do have natural specs and imprefections.
